Homosexual Activist Control of Gay Curriculum?

I read many artist Bios when I was a teen. Then I went to Florence and saw many of the works I had read about.
After spending many days looking at Michaelangelo's sculptures, I realised there was something the Bios did not mention. All his scultpures are of the male form. He did try a few times with the female form, but those works are considered his weakest.
I remember feeling furious that I had read a long Bio of Michaelangelo (The Agony and the Ecstasy) and it had never mentioned his sexual orientation.
Parents groups protested in Victoria, saying they "...do not want their children indoctrinated in the sexual orthodoxies of the gay movement..."
Leaving out parts of history, and is not "indoctrinating" students. The proposed High School course will include many aspects of real life, students need to know history
I wonder how many of the parents taking part in the protest will look back in the future and feel very differently after they discover someone close is gay.
